I've always been drawn to places that make people feel like they belong. When I started designing for my local church, something clicked. The logo, the website, the graphics weren't just decoration. Design carries feeling, and it can make someone feel welcome or not before they ever walk through the door.
I spent 4 years on staff as a church creative director and became obsessed with making people feel welcome through our graphics, our messaging, and our website. Now I can feel that welcome the moment I walk into a coffee shop, church, or camp. My job is to make sure people feel it before they get there, because your first impression usually happens online.
Most brand designers can't draw. Most illustrators don't build websites. I do both, so everything feels like the same place.
